NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER ON AMAZON! A reformed smuggler finds himself embroiled in a mind-bending criminal conspiracy in this page-turning debut from former automobile journalist Michael J. Clark.
Pastor Tommy Bosco runs a Winnipeg skid row mission that caters to ex-criminals and ex-addicts trying to make a better life. Sometimes that better life means leaving the city -- and the good and bad guys -- completely behind. A former smuggler, Bosco can make anyone disappear, faking deaths and extracting people across the Canada-U.S. border. But then his ex shows up, fresh from the murder of a biker-gang boss. She's got plenty of baggage, including the biker's cryptic ledger that everyone in Winnipeg's underworld wants to get their hands on. Bosco finds himself a fugitive at the center of a conspiracy that has him staying far away from the cops, the hired hitmen, and even his dear old dad. Navigating through a harsh Prairie winter, Bosco must help his ex escape without having to make an escape himself.
Michael J. Clark is best known to Winnipeggers, Nova Scotians, and pretty much anyone with an internet connection as an award-winning Canadian automobile journalist. (Check out youtube.com/user/RoadTripRides for some car time well wasted.) In 2015, he decided to take a break from the road and finish his first novel, Clean Sweep with ECW Press. (ecwpress.com) He's currently wrapping up his second novel, set in Winnipeg circa 1985. He lives in Winnipeg with his very understanding wife Carol.
HOW TO PRE-ORDER CLEAN SWEEP BY MICHAEL J. CLARK
Good question! I was hoping to have a whole pile of fancy buttons and links to make that easy, until I found out how much all that jazz costs. So welcome to the land of Cut and Paste.

Boy, they sure are close, aren't they?
Anywho, I'm in the process of building the social media presence as we speak. (Michael J. Clark on Facebook. Look for the clown pointing at something really awesome off-camera.) I'll throw in a blog when I feel like it, and share some images/videos of the city that continues to inspire my twisted view on a daily basis. You can also send an email with UNLIMITED characters to email@example.com. I truly hope that you enjoy Clean Sweep. You don't have to be from Winnipeg to get it. If you don't get it, don't worry. There's probably one of us down the hall that can help.
Keep the shiny side up, and the rubber side down!
